Team 1306 has just competed in our first in-person competition since 2019.
Unsurprisingly, there were a lot of challenges we had to face both before and during the competition. Despite these issues, we had a great time at the competition.
Chairman’s presented to the judges and received some helpful feedback. Although we didn’t win, this feedback will be reflected through improvements to our presentation at the La Crosse tournament.
Throughout the competition, we found moderate success shooting. However, we really hit our stride when it came to defense. We were picked by the 4th seeded team, joining team 6823 USM Robotics and team 2830 Riverside RoboTigers to focus on defense. This strategy led us to the semifinals where we unfortunately lost to the 1st seed team. As a whole, we were happy to be picked in eliminations and happier that we made it to semifinals.
